One Must Fall: Networking coming soon!
======================================
We're only a few weeks away from releasing One Must Fall 2097
with full network and modem play. It's going through beta-
testing as I write this, and it's quite cool. Here's what's
in it:
1. NETWORK CHALLENGE! If you have an IPX network at your
home or office, you can see a list of who's playing who,
challenge your friends, and even do round-robin tournaments.
2. BBS PLAY! If your sysop sets up our Arena Door program
(which is quite easy and will be available freely), you can
call up and challenge anybody else in the Challenge Arena
to a match. This will work on PC LAN-based BBS's of all
sizes. It supports up to 80 players!
3. For easier BBS and modem play, we're giving you a
built-in terminal program.
4. Modem play. Of course, you can always play a 2-player game
with a friend by modem. All you need is 9600 baud for
full-speed action!
Sysops: Leave email to sysop@epicgames.com for information
about setting up a Challenge Arena on your BBS. The software
for this will be provided for free!

OMF Questions & Answers
=======================
Q. Will all of this stuff work in the shareware version?
A. Yes! Shareware players can play against anybody, but are,
of course, limited to the shareware arena and robots.
Q. Wow! So why should I buy the full version?
A. Because you'll get more cool robots and arenas.
* Shareware version: Contains 3 robots and 1 arena.
* Full version: Contains 10 robots and 4 arenas.
Q. How much will the new network/modem version of OMF cost?
A. We're charging the same price as before; the extras are free:
Full version: $39
Full version + Strategy Guide: $49
Q. I already bought the full version. Can I upgrade?
A. Yes. The OMF upgrade will be available freely on BBS's,
online services, and the Net. It will work with both the
shareware and the full version.
Q. Can I play through Internet?
A. Sort of. We don't have built-in Internet support yet, but
OMF works with IHHD (Internet Head to Head Daemon). If
you're into Unix, you can set up an OMF game that way. In the
future, we'll add direct Internet support.
====================
Tyrian: Coming soon!
====================
The Tyrian preview is on our Web site. It's also
downloadable from ftp.epicgames.com, the GO EPIC area on
CompuServe, and on Exec-PC BBS. Tyrian is a scrolling
shooter with lots of action, and the shareware version
will be released in about a month. Look for TYRPREV.ZIP.
Tyrian will include full modem and network play! An early
version of this is up and running, and it's surprisingly
cool.
==================
Jazz Jackrabbit CD
==================
If you haven't bought it yet, call us about the Jazz
Jackrabbit CD! It's jam-packed with all *nine* Jazz episodes
plus the Jazz Christmas levels as an extra bonus. You can
play it from the CD with almost no hard disk space required.
It's $49.00, and it comes with a full-color hint book and
Jazz comic.
PC Format ranked Jazz as the #1 action game of the year--that
was before the new CD levels debuted. Now it's even better!
