It's been a while since our last issue and we have many
topics that need to be addressed, most importantly the
release of Fire Fight, Epic's first native Windows 95 game!

New Releases
============

FIRE FIGHT:

Fire Fight is a native Windows 95 game developed by chaos
works and published by Epic MegaGames. Fire Fight is
distributed in retail stores worldwide by Electronic Arts.
The shareware version of Fire Fight is AVAILABLE NOW from
Epic's World Wide Web site at http://www.epicgames.com/.

Here are some of the features you will find in Fire Fight:

- Beautifully 3D rendered hi-res (640x400) graphics
- Multi-level parallax scrolling backgrounds
- Multiplayer support for four players via network, two by
modem
- Two Multiplayer games: Fire Fight and Base Building
- Customizable multiplayer rules

The shareware version of Fire Fight contains:

- Four single-player missions taking place on two of
the Fire Fight worlds
- One special multiplayer map
- Optionally downloaded hi-res data files for 640x400
graphics (ffsw10op.exe)

By registering Fire Fight, you'll get:

- 14 additional single-player missions! (18 missions in all)
- Five additional multiplayer war-zones! (six in all)
- New rendered 3D landscapes (three new worlds to explore)
and enemies.
- More environmental effects, including clouds, rain, snow
and lightning.
- A rockin' CD audio soundtrack.

Fire Fight is available as a single CD-ROM and also in a
multiplayer gaming kit which contains two CDs—one for you
and one for a friend. Epic is now taking orders for both the
single CD version and the multiplayer kit! The cost of the
single CD version is only $29 and the multiplayer gaming kit
is $35 (add $4 for domestic postage and handling, $6
international postage). Federal Express delivery is also
available for an additional $6 in the United States and $20

Patches
=======

TYRIAN v2.01

This patch upgrades Tyrian v2.0 to the latest and final
version, 2.01. Tyrian v2.01 has a few bug fixes including
the keyboard bug found in v2.0. *Note* This patch works
with both the shareware and registered versions of Tyrian
v2.0.

WORLD OF WONDERS (working title)

World of Wonders (WoW) is a native Windows 95 game being
developed by Unicorn Development from the Netherlands and
will be published by Epic MegaGames, Inc. World of Wonders
is a turn-based strategy game which successfully incorporates
role-playing and adventure elements.

The game is set in a rich Tolkien-style world, where conflicts
between mythical races are fought. WoW features hundreds of
different creatures, units, and items, uniquely detailed and
all hand drawn in 320x400 graphics.

Jazz Jackrabbit II
------------------

Digital Dimensions, the group that brought you the original
Jazz Jackrabbit is working on the incredibly hot sequel,
Jazz Jackrabbit II. Jazz II is another native Windows
95 title from Epic which is due out by the fourth quarter of
1996.

Jazz is back and this time he's brought a friend along for
the ride! Join Jazz and his neurotic little brother Spaz
for a wild romp through time on a quest to stop Devan
Shell from destroying the past, and the future in the process.
