Welcome to Dances with Amps, the site devoted entirely to pokemon #181, Denryuu/Ampharos. Come indulge in all things Ampharan! This is the site that makes up for the lack of the Beacon pokémon's presence in the animé and hopefully stirs fandom and respect for our Shocking yellow sheep.
This was overdue. After over a year of creating fan work related to this pokemon, I finally decided to set up a site and share the wealth! Browsing the web I was horrified to find little in the way of quality fan content relating to this Light Pokemon who has persisted in being my personal favourite. Therefore, this site was in order!
This is still a small site, as I've just gotten it running, so anticipate more additions soon!
You will find no gaming information on this site. Dances with Amps has been created so that I may share, mainly, the writings/artwork related to the ongoing RPG writing in which wild Denryuu characters play out an epic of, well, epic proportions. Piece by piece, these collaborative passages are being displayed on this site for your reading enjoyment and, if you are interested, your participation. Anyone who wants to join in these adventures is welcome!
The Realm of Light RPG, at over 3 years old, is going REALLY well! The premise of the game is that you play as a wild pokemon, living free in nature, and there is evil in the land. Currently there is a lot going on in the game and openings for players wanting to play any pokemon, even a legendary. The Cloudspin RPG is for mareep, flaaffy and ampharos lovers who would love to play a sheep pokemon living in a wild herd! Currently thre is a war going on between the two flocks living around the mountain. This is a smaller, quieter RPG than Realm and it is being revived from inactivity. Feel free to join!
