Near Goslar (Germany), there was a traffic jam caused by a drunken badger. Officers tried to scare him of the road by poking it with a stick. According to a spokesman the badger ate fermented berries. The berries changed into alcohol in the badgers stomach, causing him to be as drunk as it can be. The drunken fellow also had a bad case of diarrhea. After he was chased away from the road, the badger fell asleep in the field next to the road. Miss Badger was not available for comment about her husbands behavior.
